We visited The Reef the week after Christmas 2012. Nothing deceptive about what they offer. Did have some transportation issues but that had nothing to do with the resort and funjet is supposed to be resolving that. Request a first floor room and you walk right out onto the beach. Everything was clean and nice. Not crowded at all. Collin and Tony at the bar were great. Food was the best I had at an all inclusive. I have traveled to several resorts before and never returned to the same one twice. Not that they were bad but we just like seeing what else is out there. The Reef, however, is defiantly a return trip. Top shelf liquor and US domestic bottle beer(Bud Light) are also included as well as the Subway on premises. Excursions can be booked right in the lobby. Stingray city is a must. Only thing to beware of is most businesses in Cayman are closed on Sunday. Everything in Cayman is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

We loved every minute of it. The staff went out of their way to please. The water was perfect. We loved the outside bar. The bartender was very polite. We fished with Captain Herman, that night he picked us up and took us back to his restaurant where he cooked our catch.
Room Tip: All rooms are beach side. Not a bad room anywhere.Chipbogie, Conway Arkansas - Reviewed September 3, 2013
We had a great stay at the reef with our family and friends! We did the all-inclusive meal and drink plans and I think it was the hi-light our kids' vacation! Waitstaff and bartenders were great. Rooms are big and comfy-we were in the suite with king bedroom, full kitchen, and Murphy beds for the kids in the living. We didn't really need the kitchen on the all-inclusive plan, but it's nice to have the room. The food was really good as well.
Room Tip: We stayed on bottom floor-door opens right onto the beach! Rooms 103 & 104 are great spots-close...Rhonda 1972 Ponder Texas - Reviewed July 28, 2013
My family recently stayed at the Reef. We had a wonderful time staying there. The location was perfect and kept us away from the hustle and bustle of the other end of the island. It was easy with our rental car to venture to the other side when we felt like seeing the island attractions. The staff was friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean. I loved the fact that all of the rooms are beachfront. I would say this is a great place to stay.
Room Tip: We liked the 2nd floor for view and privacy that the first floor didn't offer.Lisa M - Richboro, Pennsylvania - Reviewed July 23, 2013
I am a planner. We work hard for our money and I wanted this trip to be amazing. I have a few friends who are travel agents whos expertise I take very seriously. We wanted quiet, beach, and relaxing vibe. I called the resort a few times to get a sense of the people on staff and they were always very friendly and accommodating. Every question was never a bother and emails were promptly answered. This vacation was all on me and I wanted to make sure that my family was happy so that we can all enjoy one another. You can see that choosing a destination was not easy and a lot went into the planning.
Room Tip: If you have kids and want to walk out to a pool, don't be afraid to ask for a ground floor room.Kimberly C, Kopake, New York - Reviewed July 18, 2013
The Reef is located on other side of island from beautiful, yet busier and much pricier Seven Mile Beach. All services and amenities here as any other great beach resort, even a shopping center across the street for convenience. Extremely clean and well-maintained with friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for families (even have a great kids program, including a kids' pizza/activity night so parents can enjoy a night out) or couples. The beach is beautiful, tho better suited to snorkeling than just bathing, but there is an area to do so. Recommend a rental car, just a short, very beautiful and relaxing drive to anywhere else on island you'd like to go.Nicnat1216 Cumberland, Rhode Island - Reviewed July 14, 2013
